Description:
The role of Trainee Actuary within the Actuarial Function is a varied role involving the preparation of various Solvency II and IFRS quarterly and annual reporting deliverables. The successful candidate will be part of a team of actuaries with responsibility for the Actuarial Reporting requirement of CLReI.
In this role the successful candidate will:
- Acquire and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of CLReI’s portfolio of transactions.
- Prepare Solvency II Technical Provisions and Solvency Capital Requirement Calculations.
- Participate in the preparation of quarterly Solvency II and IFRS Asset Modelling.
- Prepare quarterly and annual deliverables to support Central Bank of Ireland requirements, including QRT production.
- Support the Risk Function in preparation of ORSA and OSNA reporting.
- Support the Risk Function in preparation of quarterly risk reporting.
- Support the Group in the preparation of summary actuarial reporting.
- Monitor Solvency II guidance and implementation of updates to the current CLReI Solvency II valuation model as required.
- Monitor CLReI’s solvency coverage position on a weekly basis and communicate the results of this monitoring to CLReI and CLRe senior management.
- Key stakeholders of the role are CLReI HoAF, CLReI CRO and CLReI CFO as well as wider Actuarial Function team.
