This is a varied role with direct reports and will also include involvement in strategy, group planning and analysis.

Who should apply?

Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accountants with 1-3 years’ PQE who hold excellent academic results. Currently working as:

• Audit Senior, Assistant Manager or Manager (industry audit)
• Financial Accountant/Senior Financial Accountant in a large company
• Plc/large corporate experience beneficial

Role and Reporting Lines

The role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and will involve:

• Involvement in strategy and financial planning & analysis
• Managing the reporting of monthly management accounts to senior management and key stakeholders
• Responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounts operations
• Managing the annual budgeting process, working with the respective internal departments
• Working consultatively with departments on cost reduction initiatives
• Managing banking compliance certificate completions and banking ratio forecasts
• Working on ad hoc projects for potential new business cases
