Commercial Finance Analyst

Description:

This is a unique role where the successful candidate will be involved in all things commercial across the group. You will be working very closely with the group financial controller who has established a best in class finance function in conjunction with the CFO. The role will involve adding value on the commercial, budgeting, cashflow management and investment processes so regular exposure to senior executives is inevitable.

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance your duties will include the following:

• Conduct a full review of the commercial finance function and implement changes needed for a best in class function
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Cash management
• Critically analyze capital expenditure using various business intelligence tools
• Analyse financial projections
• Provides analytical rigour, guidance and support for business initiatives, including investment appraisal
• Understand and challenge financial models used in decision making
• Provide full analytical support to business transformation projects
• Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives through continually optimising technology utilisation
