Commercial Finance Manager

Description:

As a key member of the GTM Finance team, you'll work closely with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Product, Controllership and other cross-functional teams to provide commercial and financial insight on customer transactions.

You'll help shape commercial decisions by analysing deal economics, advising on revenue implications, improving commercial processes and supporting the continued growth of a global technology business.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders on commercial opportunities across the EMEA region.
• Analyse deal economics and provide commercial finance support on customer transactions.
• Advise stakeholders on revenue recognition considerations and commercial structures.
• Drive margin analysis and provide financial insight to support business growth.
• Develop trusted relationships with senior business leaders across Finance and Commercial teams.
• Support process improvement, finance transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
• Present clear, data-driven recommendations to enable informed commercial decisions.

About You

You'll be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced technology environment.

You'll ideally have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience within Commercial Finance, GTM Finance, Revenue Recognition or Revenue Accounting.
• Experience within a SaaS, software or technology business.
• A strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Commercial, Deal Desk or other business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
