Financial Accountant

Description:

A Senior Financial Accountant is required for an initial 6 month contract with a global investment management company based in Dublin City centre. You will be supporting an established team during a particularly busy period. This role will sit as a key member of the Finance team, ensuring that the financial reporting requirements of the various European fund entities are met including all statutory, regulatory, taxation and internal reporting matters.

Responsibilties:

• Financial reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant obligations

• Fund accounting and administration

• Overseeing and monitoring service levels of external fund administrators

• Assisting in preparation of information required for periodic investor reporting on various funds

• Enhancing management information

• Assisting in the preparation of information for quarterly Board Meetings for various fund entities

• Annual and interim financial statements

• Investor tax reporting

• Assisting with ad hoc technical accounting matters and other projects throughout the year.

Requirements:

• Degree and ACA qualified (or equivalent accounting qualification)

• 2-5 years post qualification experience in IFRS accounting / financial reporting (either in industry or in an audit
