Newly Qualified Financial Accountant

Description:

Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Accountant will support financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and commercial finance activities across asset/wealth management or aircraft leasing operations.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and contributing to ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Assist with financial reporting and year-end processes
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management
• Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting requirements
• Liaise with auditors and support audit processes
• Review reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or due to qualify this year
• Training background in audit, ideally with exposure to financial services, asset/wealth management, or aircraft leasing clients
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Commercial mindset with an eagerness to learn and develop in industry
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
