This role is ideal for Audit Directors with the following background:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with 10+ years of audit experience, with a focus on industry clients.
• A proven track record of managing large audit teams and delivering high-quality engagements.
• Deep understanding of Irish and international accounting and audit standards.
• Demonstrated success in client relationship management and business development.
• Strategic thinking with a commercial focus and the ability to innovate service offerings.

Role and Reporting Lines

This position reports directly to the Head of Audit for Ireland and involves:

• Leading the Industry Audit practice for the Cork office, ensuring delivery of exceptional service and compliance with audit standards.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and boards of industry clients across a diverse range of sectors.
• Driving growth through business development and enhancing the firm’s market share in the region.
• Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of audit professionals.
• Overseeing complex audit engagements for domestic and multinational clients, ensuring technical and operational excellence.
• Collaborating with other service lines to provide holistic solutions tailored to client needs.
